NEWS AND UPDATES!
(updated June 29th 2009)

**It's 9:21pm miami time on Tue night.  End of day three and today we fell from the gold bracket.  We advanced after this morning's pool but lost out on a cross court challenge at 3:00 that sent us to the silver bracket.  We play two matches on tuesday and then the JO's are over for us.  We have played and seen some incredible volleyball.  Everyonce in a while we also see a familiar player or parent from San Antonio as well.  I will post tue's results as soon as possible and again, thanks for all the text and email support.

** It's around 10pm miami time on sunday night.  End of day two and the girls played great today.  We finished 1st in a pool of 6 (only lost 1 of 5 matches) and still in the running for the gold bracket.  If we show up and play this level of ball on monday, i'll be happy no matter what the end result.  They really made up for the first day's rocky showing.  We start at 11am on monday in a pool of 3, top two move on for a cross court challenge at 3pm.  I'll update the web site as soon as possible with monday's results.  Thanks again for all of the email and text message's with support from san antonio.

**It's just after midnight (actually it's June 28th) and everyone is getting back to thier hotel rooms (end of day 1): We won the first match, lost the second (gave away an easy game in 3 to the number 4 seed team) and won the third match in two.  First two matches we really didn't play ball at all? Third match we started to see signs of the magic 12's start to emerge on the court.  Hopefully we have all of the nervousness out, and can get down to some good volleyball!  Still in the gold bracket but sunday is very import if we want to stay on our way up.  Thanks for all of the text messages & emails.  It's good too have some support from San Antonio while we are so far from home.  I gotta tell you, so far the Junior Olympics are much quieter than say Lone Star in Dallas or Regionals in Houston.  Approx 50 courts and spread out a little more than Dallas or Houston.  I couldn't get the pictures to upload but i'll try and get some pictures up soon!  Again thanks for all of your support.
