Magic almost derailed by Shazam

SA Magic 15 Elite go undeafeated on day 1 of Colorado CrossRoads.  During one of day one's matches, Chase Kluna (nick name Klunatic) serves a perfect game of 25-0 and becomes the 5th Player in the Magic family to serve 25 in a row (and the 2nd time for a magic player in Denver).   On day 2, the 15's were caught off guard and unprepared for a match up against a team called "Shazam".  The beauty about playing out of state is you never now what to expect and the 15's had not expected a match like the one.   After losing to Shazam in 3, the team still advanced to an elimination cross match, won and moved on to be one of the top 16 teams playing for a bid.  On day 3, the team easily managed the first three matches, earned a USA bid and advanced to the Championship match.  In a close three set match, 15's elite lost the final match to take 2nd Place in the USA Division.  Now that the team has earned a USA Bid, they will play in the Open division at Lone Star Classic and the Show Me Qualifier in Kansas City Mo in April.   The earning of the USA Bid allows the team to compete at the Jr. Nationals held in late April.  This is the 2nd bid of the 2016/17 season and the 22nd Bid for San Antonio Magic Volleyball Club.  Awesome Job Ladies and pack your bags for Minneapolis.
